TURN OFF THE T.V. AWAKEN YOUR SOUL.

Turn off the television – stop the distractions and live a more positive life.

We all know that we attract what we put out into the universe – so, if you keep watching the news (which is mostly negative and biased) this is all that will return to you.  What’s the alternative to being distracted with celebrity gossip, around the clock breaking news stories about missing plans, coups, political scandals, wars, failing economies and banks and big corporations destroying our planet?  How about piece of mind, clarity, the opportunity to discover new talents, using your free time to be with loved ones, discovering nature, learning, reading, etc….

Here is an experiment for you:  Turn off the television for 1 hour after you come home and try to do something else – something you normally would not do had the television been on.  I’m not talking about cooking, cleaning or reading gossip magazines.  Try something new, something you have never done or experienced before; meditation, walk by the beach or park, yoga, dance class, tai-chi or simply talking with your partner (and I don’t mean talking about work, celebrities and the such – get to REALLY know them again).  With each day – turn off the television for longer periods of time and discover other things.  Become passionate, learn, engage and become involved in creating positive change in the world.

Once we connect to a more positive, loving, compassionate and kind vibration – that is all that we will receive.  Ask yourself – Wouldn’t life be much more enjoyable when you connect to energies that what to instill positive change into our world?  Love is REALLY the key ingredient in making the world a better place and you can’t connect to the vibration of love when you are distracted by the negative and distracting energies of media, corporations and corrupt governments.  Remove the distraction, awaken your soul and create real, positive change in the world.  What have you got to lose?

Together, we can make the world a more positive one!

TRUTHLOADER – NEWS FOR TODAY’S GENERATION

Do you trust your current local news channel.  Are they trustworthy and unbiased when it comes to news from your town, city, province/state or country?  So many of us are now getting our news information from various social media (Facebook, YouTube, Internet, Twitter, etc.) as an alternative to the news outlets of the past (television, newspaper and radio).  I think people are tired of the biased reporting from the old sources and are looking for respectful and realtime news.  There was a time when people respected journalists and their reporting.  Today – television is BIG BUSINESS.  The more viewers you can manage to secure – the more products you can sell, so why bother reporting news that matters or ‘real’ news from around the world.  Our current news agencies don’t want the general public to know the truth in terms of what is happening around the world – if news stories don’t make the United States look good, CNN, Fox, ABC, NBC, CBC, etc…will not report it.  Whistleblowers have to flee their countries in order to ensure their freedom for exposing the truth, shouldn’t they be treated as heroes for ensuring the truth gets out?  Our governments don’t think so.

Seek the truth yourself and don’t let the government take more of your freedoms/rights away.  The Canadian government attempted to push their internet surveillance bill  by disguising it as a way to ‘protect our children from sexual predators’.  Here are some articles regarding the Conservative governments push on Bill C-30 – Protecting Children From Predators Act:

The Globe and Mail – http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-debate/its-child-porn—we-need-bill-c-30/article546885/

Thankfully, this bill did not pass but it is a reminder that we must be vigilant in watching our government to ensure they don’t attempt to pass other such bills without public knowledge.

Don’t believe everything you hear.  We have the tools to be able to seek the truth and find different and un-biased resources to verify any bit of news or information.  Seek them out and make an informed decision on what you believe to be true.

Here is a YouTube channel the describes itself as follows:

Truthloader is a channel dedicated to finding amazing footage, alternative opinions and to digging deeper into stories than the mainstream media will.
We find the best examples of crowd-sourced video and independent content, then use our expertise to add context and analysis. We bring you news and views that will not get coverage in mainstream news outlets and we connect the dots to show you things they don’t want you to see.
We respond to the stories you’re interested in, so if you’ve got a story you’d love us to get to the bottom of, tweet us, Facebook us, or respond to our videos with a comment – and perhaps check out our reddit.

WAY TO GO MR. RUSSELL BRAND!!!

I don’t watch much television – especially news.  Television (mainly, the news) was a respectful and great outlet to receive un-biased information about what was happening around the world.  That isn’t the case now – television fills our minds with fear, anxiety, endless reality (that isn’t reality) television and biased programming and newscasts.

I applaud Russell Brand for holding the hosts of MSNBC’s – Morning Joe accountable for their lack of focus and their lack of respect for their guest.  If you haven’t seen the interview – here it is:

The main anchor (sorry don’t know her name, she’s the blonde)…..She indicates that she doesn’t know who Russell Brand is by stating “I don’t know pop culture”…..prior to having a guest on your show, shoudn’t you complete some form of research to ensure you know who you will be speaking with?
